What Perlas University is, what it is not, and how it states what it offers.
Not accredited. No degrees.
Perlas University is not an accredited university. It does not grant degrees or diplomas and does not take part in Title IV federal student aid. Courses carry no academic credit. People who complete a free research course may receive a certificate of completion issued by Perlas University. It records what they finished. It is not academic credit, a degree, a diploma, a license or an accredited credential. Operator outlines do not issue certificates.
What is offered today.
Operator-course outlines, which are not open for paid enrollment, and free, non-credit research courses. A waitlist entry is not enrollment and does not reserve a seat.
Secular.
Courses are secular. No religious belief is required or taught, and course pages do not link to faith or adult sites.
What a cohort is.
A cohort is a small group that takes one research course together from start to finish: 6 to 8 weeks, one 90-minute session a week, online or at a partner makerspace, working in pairs, ending with a hands-on build and a research deliverable. A cohort runs only when its dates are posted on the course page. Joining the waitlist does not place you in a cohort.
Who teaches.
Taught by Anthony R. Perlas, U.S. Veteran. Research courses also use AI teaching assistants, labeled as such, on the faculty page. No personal teaching credential or degree is claimed.
What this desk will not claim.
No regional accreditation. No degrees, diplomas or Title IV aid. No invented faculty names or credentials. No talent-agency license. No therapy, clinical care, legal or tax advice. Commercial desk tracks are for adults 21 and older; age rules for each research course are on its page.
